Amanda Harpst, M.S. CCC-SLP is trained in the Lindamood-Bell LiPs, Seeing Stars, and Visualizing and Verbalizing programs. In addition to basic education, she has completed advanced training in the above programs. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist, and is able to test for speech and language disorders, as well as reading/spelling difficulties. The Success Reading program provides 1:1 reading/spelling tutoring and therapy.

Each student receives academic language therapy every day with sessions limited to one or two students. Language therapists are trained in Orton-Gillingham techniques (Basic Language Skills and Alphabetic Phonics), Lindamood-Bell (LIPs, Visualizing & Verbalizing, and Seeing Stars), Project Read Written Expression, Neuhaus Multi-sensory Grammar, and draw from other programs as needed. Classroom teachers use methods and some curriculum specifically for dyslexic students. Classes are limited to 8 students. Enrichment program includes art, woodworking, P.E., and Destination Imagination.
